Network Monitoring is included in all three sysCARE™ subscriptions. We check the critical parts of the network every five minutes and monitor such things as:
- The server(s) are up and running
- The server disk space is OK
- The required Windows services are running
- RAID systems are functioning 100%
- Exchange Information Store is within size thresholds
- Processor untilization
- Memory usage
- Bandwidth usage
- Internet connections are up
- Firewalls/routers/switches are running
- IP services and port checks
so that we are alerted to any system failures, and in many circumstances we can warn the client before the event actually happens.
In addition we can, where asked, carry out daily health checks on servers and PCs to ensure that:
- The anti-virus pattern is up to date
- The correct level of patches have been applied
- The disk consumption rates are within limits
- That hackers have not been attempting to access the system
- The event logs don’t show any critical errors
- The disk health is fine
..........and many more.
The results are available in a daily email report if required as well as on the client’s personalised web based dashboard.
